Implicit differentiation is the process of finding the derivative of a dependent variable in an implicit function by taking the derivative of each term separately and expressing the derivative of the dependent variable as a symbol (y is the dependent variable, and the derivative of y is shown as dy/dx) and by solving the expression for the symbol (dy/dx). We can also find the second derivative by plugging the first derivative into dy/dx of the second derivative.
